LITTLE BIT ABOUT PINOCCHIO
Pinocchio is a
fictional character from a popular children’s book. The story
is about a wood puppet, whose nose grows every time he tells a lie,
his adventures and his relationship with his father, the carpenter
Geppeto.
Pinocchio
was created in 1881 by an Italian journalist named Carlo
Lorenzini, who wrote under the name C. Collodi.
The
first English version was published in 1892, but its
popularity was given a boost when Walt Disney made it into a popular animated film in 1940.
The story has been filmed many other times, including live-action
versions.
